The Library and Lounge

On the ground floor of the house is our library and lounge area.

The Library

The library sits in a quite area of the house and has a 7ft snooker table, chess board and a selection of books. An excellent spot to relax and contemplate the day before heading off to St Andrews.

The Lounge

The large lounge area has comfortable seating and a roaring coal fire. The lounge also leads on to the conservatory dinning area.

Both areas will give you access to our WIFI connection allowing you to sit with your wireless laptop and catch up with emails or browse the internet.

The Garden Room

On the ground floor, the Garden Room has been designed to cater for wheelchair users and  has its own French doors with easy access to a furnished patio.

The patio overlooks the lawns and golf practice area. This room has a large en suite with a 'wet room' which makes the room suitable for wheelchair access and provides easy access to the rest of the house as there are no stairs on the ground floor.

The African Room

Our African room is furnished in animal prints with colonial style chairs and furniture. The super king-sized bed is cover by a canopy giving this room a romantic feel.

There is also art displayed around the room and the En Suite bathroom is also decorated with African ornaments and linen.

Oriental Room

This room is furnished in deep reds with oriental furnishings and art adorning the walls.

The room contains 3 single beds, a wicker chair and is often used as a family room. The rooms En Suite bathroom is also tastefully decorated.

The Scottish Room

The Scottish room is furnished in heather colours with thistles, hand painted by a local Scottish artist.

The headboard is an antique pew from an old church. The view from the window is of the back garden and there is a small seating area to enjoy this. This room has 2 single beds and an En Suite bathroom.

Room With a View

Located at the front of the house.

This is a bright and relaxing room overlooking the lawn, putting green and the Railway Carriage. Tastefully decorated in pastel shades, the room has two single beds that are usually arranged as a double bed.

The Floral Room

The floral room is a bright room at the rear of the house with views over the garden.

A comfortable double room, the Floral Room is En suite and has an antique Victorian dresser.
